Love is a many splendid thing. Love lifts us up where we belong. All you need is love!

Other men said they have seen angels, But I have seen thee And thou art enough.

I would fly you to the moon and back if you'll be . . . if you'll be my baby.

I love you - those three words have my life in them.
What lies behind us, and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.

I have been astonished that men could die martyrs for their religion -
I have shudder'd at it. I shudder no more.
I could be martyr'd for my religion Love is my religion
And I could die for that. I could die for you.

I'd like to run away
From you,
But if you didn't come
And find me ...

When you love someone, all your saved-up wishes start coming out

Soul meets soul on lover's lips.

I have found men who didn't know how to kiss.

I've always found time to teach them.

Love and kindness are never wasted. They always make a difference. They bless the one who receives them, and they bless you, the giver.

If you aren't good at loving yourself, you will have a difficult time loving anyone, since you'll resent the time and energy you give another person that you aren't even giving to yourself.

I love thee, I love but thee
With a love that shall not die
                                                              Till the sun grows cold,
                                                              And the stars grow old...

Love is patient, love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It is not rude, it is not self-seeking.
It is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
                                                 Love never fails.

                                                                                                           I Corinthians 13:4-8
Love, like truth and beauty, is concrete. Love is not fundamentally a sweet feeling; not, at heart, a matter of sentiment, attachment, or being "drawn toward." Love is active, effective, a matter of making reciprocal and mutually beneficial relation with one's friends and enemies.

Love -- is anterior to Life --

Posterior -- to Death --

Initial of Creation, and

The Exponent of Earth --

love you not only for what you are, but for what I am when I am with you. I love you not only for what you have made of yourself, but for what you are making of me. I love you for the part of me that you bring out.
